Directions
To reach us from Winchelsea follow the road down the hill, look for
the Icklesham town sign on the left, then another small 30 mph sign
just before the entrance to the church car park.
Make a sharp left turn and then turn right onto the drive which leads
up to the house gates.
From Hastings take the A259 through Ore and Guestling to reach
Icklesham and keep on going through the village until you see a small
30 mph sign on the right and turn immediately in to the church car
park.
Even without a car it is possible to explore the area. A taxi to us
from the station in Rye costs about £7, £10 from Hastings, or take the
bus and get off at the first Icklesham stop from Winchelsea, the last
from Hastings. There are buses which go to Rye on the Dover route and
to Hastings once an hour.
